LOST HOME

This house used to be a home
It's four wall keeping the warmth of heart beats inside
But like a dress, she is now turned inside out
Her belly is cold while outside her is now warm

This four walls once defined the blood inside our hearts
But we are now divided along the same four walls
Same blood we share seeks the others head

This house was a home before the dawn of self
Before envy crept into the vocabulary
Before we knew we had difference
Before the laughters and hugs lost the sound of heart beat

Love got lost in the race
Hate became the fuel for keeping pace
Homes are always lost to the most trivial of things
