My First Love

Who am I?
A seed two souls planted in the dark?
Who am I?
Question on questions I stark

Bare butt playing with the earth
The holes we dug as though searching for our Ch'i
With time, the hubbub of days eroded our innocent hearts
Simplicity of days was rapped, dreams the offspring

Galloping on the wild horse of life
Haze and fog set in
Life made way for strife
The destination hardly certain

The breeze of societal norms blew
I got lost in its hurricane
Worry and sadness found fertile soil thus grew
In this darkness and quack mire, I found myself and all became plain.
