IF I MUST

IF I MUST

If I must, I will marry the moon
So she will bear me billions of stars

If I must, I will cheat with the sun
Her every breath will breathe us to life

If I must, I will have rain for a concubine
Her tears make all things beautiful

If I must, I will sow seeds of love on the fertile field of my heart
She is too white to bear black stains of hate

If I must, I will fornicate with peace
Start casting your stones, I know there are many saints

If I must, I will embrace myself
She is the only one with a warm heartfelt hug

If I must, I will make the most of my clock
No man gets another once she is broken.

If I must, I will.
