Its alright, go ahead, seat by
Like a nature's admirer watching exotic birds fly by
Distract yourself with the beauty overhead
From the earthquaking chaos about
Its ok, (really?), everything is just fine

Relax with a glass of wine
Enjoy the calm of sitting on that fence
Why want any part of this shaming life
Stay aloof cos love for peace is met with violence
And love for violence is ultimately met with death
So go ahead,
Trust me I know the sham comfort of the fence.

Oh, so he was butchered?
That's really sad
Luckily, its not a relation nor a family member
For sure I would have been really mad
Look to the other side
Go ahead in your cruising strides
The fence is still cozy
Far and safe from the world's crazy

Insane grew into mad then into crazy
The whole world went giddy
Even the fence lost its safety
Sideline seaters now share in the travail and peril
The status quo reaches everybody
Rich or poor, young or old, no one is for the sparing.

The fence is no longer safe a place
Jump off it, add your voice to life's speed and pace
Life isn't complete without your choice and voice
Go on say it even if it is considered a noise
Someday they will appreciate the worth of that "noise"
